Manzurna Peaks - Meet Antonio Gorillatoni

Hello everyone, Gachi Muchi Kun here \(^_^)/

Revealing our first character and the main character of Manzurna Peaks, Antonio Gorillatoni.

In a alternative timeline where the Axis Powers were able to create a human ape hybrid our story enfolds. After WW2 and the fall of the Axis Powers, the militaries of the world learned of the secret discovery and began working on their own Apemen. It was a cold war of a different type, all kept hidden from the world. Until they were discovered in the 1990's. The location? Manzurna Peaks. A small mountain town with a military base where the army had been working on their own Apemen. Brought into the world and given rights similar to humans, the Apemen have slowly begun spreading out into public, living alongside humans. But all may not be as trouble free as it seems. With a new world comes new problems.

Our hero Antonio was sent away to southern California as a young gorilla in the hopes of a better life than what he had back in Manzurna Peaks. However due to unfortunate circumstances, he now finds himself getting off a bus back in Manzurna Peaks to a life he had hope he'd never come back to.

Now with no money and a place to live, can one enterprising gorilla rise up and find his place in the world? What changes will he find in a small town he hasn't seen since he little kid?

And how will his massive, smoking hot body figure into this?

Stay tuned for more updates as we inch closer to our demo release date in the beginning of July!

    3. Hey Gryphbear,

Thank you as always for the reply. We really just haven't had as much to say as we've been working on so many prototypes and we don't want to get people's hopes up by teasing them with things that don't end up happening, as has been the case the past few years.

We felt pretty confident with Man-Storm and all the additions we made, but between all the issues with the image map system we used not working with Windows 10, screen resolution issues and people just not liking the main character that much we had to shut it down.

We think everyone will like Manzurna Peaks. We hate saying that Manzurna Peaks is the "spiritual successor" of Meat Log Mountain because the stories and main characters couldn't be different, but everyone who worked on it and played it really feel it has that "something" the last couple of prototypes have lacked.

We're just doing some final clean-ups and play throughs and hope to drop this evening. We also implemented new custom menus to cut down on the Japanese interface.
